Kootenay Forge was founded in Crawford Bay in 1981 by John Smith (a great name for the job!) and has grown to be a significant employer in this beautiful, but somewhat isolated area. Kootenay Forge has now passed into the capable hands of John's daughter, Gina and her husband Cory. Learn more... |

Our Retailers - Across Canada and Around the World We sell our work directly through this website, through our retail shop in Crawford Bay, and through a variety of specialty shops across Canada, and to a much lesser extent in the US and around the world. No store carries all we make (except our own store) but they can bring it in, and there is just no substitute for seeing and touching the product.
